Incident Management Team

Tammy Simon, Director of Operations

Ms. Simon is the Director of Operations for Incident Management Team, Inc. Ms. Simon is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was assigned to security.  She has experienced first hand the impact of critical events. She was present in San Francisco on June 21, 1990, for the earthquake which was a magnitude 7.7.Ms. Simon had her workplace threatened when a man crashed through base gates, drove on flight line and began shooting. She was stationed in the Philippines for Mount Pinatubo’s eruption on June 15, 1991.

Ms. Simon is active in community events; she attends Employee Assistance Professional meetings, Society of Human Resource Management and is on the steering committee for Jacksonville Partnership for Preventing Violence.

 She has developed and implemented training strategies, assisted in the development of manuals, polices, planned and organized numerous events. She assists with grant writing, handles all logistics for team members, and manages the IMT website.
