What do all of these have in common? They are traumatic for those involved and are referred to, collectively, by the term “critical incident.” Not only are they traumatic for the individuals directly involved in the event, but also for the people who witness the event, are responders to it, as well as co-workers, friends and families.

The IMT Crisis Recovery Team has responded to over 3,000 critical incidents.

Our Crisis Recovery specialist will assist leadership with first steps while our Crisis Recovery to-go team is preparing to travel on-site. We typically recommend the team be on-site within 12-24 hours after a critical event. Our Crisis Team will provide management orientation, site logistics, media, rumor control, and supervisor/manager training on how to assist their employees, victim crisis services, and assist in development of a crisis recovery follow-up plan.
